Implant-supported crowns and bridges
A dental implant is an artificial root made of titanium, which is surgically placed in the upper and lower jaw bone, at the site of the missing tooth. After a healing period, a dental crown or bridge can be attached.
Implant-supported crowns and bridges are a great way to replace one or more missing teeth.

Crowns
A dental crown is a type of restoration that can be used to restore a tooth that is substantially damaged, decayed, discolored, or poorly shaped. The crown is custom made to fit the entire tooth, starting from the gum line, to restore the tooth to its original shape and size.
Dental crowns can be made of zirconia, porcelain, metal-based porcelain, or gold.
Your dentist will suggest a dental crown if your tooth is too damaged to restore with a traditional filling.
Crowns are also used for other restorative and cosmetic purposes, including:
- To protect a tooth following root canal treatment;
- To fix and attach a dental bridge;
- To improve the beauty of your smile;
- To improve the shape a deformed tooth;
- To strengthen a fractured or weakened tooth;
- To protect a tooth with a large filling and when there is little natural tooth structure remaining.
Bridge
A fixed bridge allows you to replace one or more missing teeth permanently. It extends over an area that has no teeth and usually consists of an artificial tooth fused between two crowns.
The bridge is held in place by your own teeth or by dental implants located next to the missing teeth.
What are the advantages of a dental bridge?
- Restores a natural smile;
- Restores chewing and speech ability;
- Maintains the natural shape of the face;
- Evenly distributes occlusion forces;
- Prevents migration of neighboring teeth and extrusion of opposing teeth;
Implant-supported prostheses
Implant-supported dentures are a solution for replacing your missing teeth in a more solid and stable way, either in a removable or in a permanently fixed manner, restoring masticatory function as well as the esthetics of your smile. This innovative approach involves securely fixing several titanium dental implants into the jawbone and then attaching custom-made dentures.
What are the advantages of implant-supported dentures?
- Superior stability: Implants provide a strong, stable base for dentures, eliminating the movement or discomfort associated with traditional removable dentures.
- Restoring esthetics: Dentures are made to match the color, shape and size of your natural teeth, ensuring a natural and esthetically pleasing smile.
- Optimal comfort and restoration of masticatory function: They allow you to eat, speak and smile with complete confidence, without the limitations of traditional removable dentures.
- Preservation of bone: Implants stimulate the jawbone, thus preventing bone resorption which can occur after tooth loss (and even be accelerated with traditional removable dentures).

Removable Dentures
Removable dentures are a versatile solution for replacing missing teeth and restoring masticatory function and an esthetic smile. Whether you have lost a few teeth or need a complete solution for your entire dental arch, removable dentures can meet your needs.
What are the advantages?
- Restoration of masticatory function: They allow you to eat comfortably and speak clearly, restoring quality of life.
- Improved esthetics: They are designed to match the color and shape of your natural teeth, providing an esthetically pleasing smile.
- Easy maintenance: They are removable for easy cleaning, which allows you to maintain good oral hygiene.
- Affordable solution: They offer a more affordable tooth replacement option compared to other treatments.
Complete denture
A complete denture is used to replace all the teeth in an entire dental arch. We may suggest a complete denture to replace all teeth in both arches or just one, depending on your individual needs.
Partial denture
A partial denture is used if you are missing several teeth but have some natural teeth remaining. A partial denture often includes a thin metal frame with hooks that attach to your remaining natural teeth for a secure fit. It could sometimes also be made only in acrylic.
Immediate denture
An immediate denture is a removable dental prosthesis (denture) designed to be placed immediately after the extraction of natural teeth. It is prepared in advance in our dental laboratory and is ready to use as soon as the natural teeth are extracted.
It is a temporary solution that allows you to maintain a complete smile during the healing process after teeth extractions. It also helps protect surrounding soft and bony tissues by maintaining the shape of the mouth, and allows you to eat and chew from the first day after extraction.
Are you considering the option of removable dentures to improve the appearance of your smile? Dr. Feldman and her team will be happy to advise you and offer you personalized support.
